Changing Perceptions (2019) is a series of digitally manipulated photographs of nature, specifically trees. The aim is to change the way in which the audience interact with nature outside of it's natural context. Using colours that aren't typically found within the natural world, the eye becomes confused as to what it is seeing and alters the viewer's perception. The project first started after researching 'false-colour' images and satelitte images and seeing the correlations between the landscapes and the intricate details of trees.
